News

= The Doublehandler was named the 2006 BEST NEWSLETTER at the GSDCA National Specialty in St. Louis, MO. The following is the judges' critique:

"This newsletter has only been around for a couple of years but can more than hold its own in the competition. Well designed, informative, and it has some terrific dog cookie recipes. This newsletter also works hand in hand with the club’s website to provide all the information the club members can use."

= The Doublehandler picked up a first runner-up in the 2005 National Newsletter competition. Here's what the judges had to say about our work:

"1st Runner Up 'The Double Handler'  A new publication and they almost hit a homer with it! Well designed, informative articles, meeting all of the contest requirements with room to spare. Articles, both original and reprints are clearly marked for sources. Much information of club interest.

Welcome to the Newsletter contest, and thank you for such a quality publication. This publication is also available online in an abbreviated form to prevent copyright infringement. What an impressive start!"
